Photography is a way for me to see and preserve moments that exist quietly within the passage of time. Sometimes these moments appear in the colors and light of nature, and sometimes in the simplicity and depth of a black and white image. The presence or absence of color is part of my expression—each allows me to convey the feeling, atmosphere, and presence of a particular moment in a different way. Details, textures, and the relationships between elements are essential, giving each image its own identity.

Part of my artistic path has developed in the darkroom, working with alternative processes such as palladium and cyanotype, where I use chemical and hand-based techniques to physically create and transform images. I have also transferred my photographs by hand onto surfaces such as wood, glass, and metal through mixed-media transfer printing. These methods allow me to expand the physical presence of the image and create works that exist as unique objects, not just photographs.

For me, a photograph is not always the final step, but often the beginning of a creative journey. Through digital work and design, I sometimes return to the image to extend it, reshape it, or combine it with other elements. This process allows me to move beyond what is seen and create work that reflects my perception, emotions, and inner world.

My work exists at the intersection of observation, material, and creative expression—between reality and artistic interpretation—where I seek to create an honest and meaningful connection between the image and the viewer.
